Shangri-La:
|
A legendary fairyland where one can find the air sits still, chilly fog forever lingers the mountain, water remains calm and still, time
seems to have taken a break, and life hardly changes a bit within the past few thousand years.

Nakenamed the "Swiss of the Orient", the beautiful city of Dali has witnessed centuries of
war and erosion, and yet is now still in its glorious shape. Under the dominating influence of
the Bai tribe and their culture, Dali is rich in both tradition and religion. The
"San Do Cha" (3 Set Tea) celemony attracts millions in attendance every year.
The nearby Chongshan mountain is famous for its unique combination of cloud, snow, rocky summits and valley creeks.

Kumming:
|
The Stone Forest is enormous and is representing the hidden culture of the Sani tribe.
The Dragon Gate of Xishan carries the legend of powerful ancient Chinese religious believes.
The food is also what makes Yunnan famous - over hundred kinds of mushroom, Pu-erh teas,
Yunnan rice noodle (guoqiao mixian), Tienchi steamed pot chicken, and the Xuanwei ham, all have helped describing certain part of
Yunnan culture, and have uniquely portraited this rapidly growing province in western China today.
